In one continuous pass it unwinds the jumbo roll, slits it into narrow lanes with a knife (cutter) assembly and rewinds each lane under controlled tension. Working width 500–2500 mm, jumbo roll capacity up to 1000 kg, dispatched pan-India in 4–6 weeks after factory testing.
